1956年創業の複合レジャー施設『味園ユニバースビル』。空中ステージを擁した“世界最大級の巨大キャバレー”だった創業時から現在まで、70年にも及ぶ歴史に幕を下ろすこととなった。
20年以上味園ユニバースビルを拠点に活動してきたCOSMIC LAB、そして7月5日(土)最終日のフィナーレを飾るfinalby( )の想いに賛同するAUGERが、コラボイベント「味園大宇宙展」を開催。このビルから発掘された歴史的資料と共に、数多くのアーティストの創造性の源泉でもあるこの”宇宙”へ思いを巡らせる最期の一週間。
さあ、いざ、大宇宙へー
MISONO UNIVERSE Building, a leisure complex established in 1956,was known as the “Japan’s Biggest Club” with an aerial stage when it was founded.Building’s history as “MISONO UNIVERSE” since 2011 comes to an end with the “MISONO Grand Universe Exhibition,” a collaborative event by AUGER ART ACTION and COSMIC LAB.This is the last week to think about this “universe,” which is the source of creativity of many artists,along with historical materials excavated from this building. Now, let’s go to the “macrocosmos”.
