île de La Réunion KWA LA! FESTIVAL

西インド洋に位置するフランス領、レユニオン島にて開催された「KWA LA! Festival」において、来場者参加型のインスタレーション作品を披露。レユニオンのダンスミュージック MALOYA のアーティスト Christine Salem とコラボレーションを行い、QUASARのコンテンツを現地滞在にて制作。カザフスタン・アスタナ万博で創り上げた日本の盆踊り・輪踊りの要素に加えて、さらに現地の音楽を融合させた、QUASAR の可能性をさらに押し広げる作品となった。

At KWA LA Festival held on Reunion Island, a region of France in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar, COSMIC LAB showed off an interactive art installation.Collaborating with Christine Salem, one of the most recognized voices of Reunion Maloya music, we created new QUASAR contents on location.Merging local music with Japanese Bon Odori and Circle Dance created for our performance at Astana Expo, we expanded the QUASAR’s capabilities.
